Xico Kashambo is a governance enthusiast with expertise in process management and internal controls. He holds a bachelor of Law degree (University of London) and a masters in corporate governance. He has undertaken roles in these departments across different countries including Uganda, Malaysia (2011-2019), Singapore (2017-2018) and Thailand (2017-2019) where he was responsible for corporate affairs, compliance and governance advisory.
He has worked in multiple sectors such as technology firms, consultancy providers, finance, human capital management2 and the hospitality industry. This has enabled him to understand the needs of various stakeholders while focusing on creating value in the most efficient manner. These skills are accentuated through in process management, negotiation, governance controls implementation and the management of Service Level Agreements (SLAs) for effective service provision.
He ensures clear and transparent stakeholder engagement. Internally, with the ability to design business structures, internal control structures through policies and procedures which are monitored and reviewed with the senior management to ensure strategic governance effectiveness and sustainability.
